2025 Report: Breaking the Cycle
Addressing Systemic Failures in PCOS Diagnosis and Management
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 8 women and those assigned female at birth, yet care remains delayed, fragmented, and inconsistent.
This first-of-its-kind parliamentary report, produced by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on PCOS and proudly sponsored by Verity (PCOS UK), draws on oral evidence sessions, Freedom of Information data from all 42 Integrated Care Boards, and over 2,000 patient survey responses.
The report sets out ten clear recommendations to transform diagnosis, treatment and long-term support - calling for action across primary care, integrated services, mental health, and clinical training.
